COVID UPDATES

To Our Patients and Their Families,

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue to maneuver through this Pandemic together, as safely as possible.

Our Team is working to ensure we meet your dental needs in the safest way possible. For continued dental care please be advised that we will be operating under continued safety guidelines as recommended by the TDA and CDC to keep you, as well as, our staff safe.

  1. Appointment Confirmation:We will be pre-screening all patients over the phone for symptoms related to Flu or COVID-19 24-48 hours before your appointment.
  2. Temperature Monitoring:Patient temperatures will be taken upon check-in.
  3. Hand sanitizer/hand washing: All patients will be given hand sanitizer when entering office and when leaving the office.
  4. Pre-procedural mouth rinse will be given before beginning xrays or dental treatment.
  5. Beverage station will not be accessible by patients but will be available upon request.
  6. Modified Patient Check-In:The reception area will continue to be closed. Check-in will be done over the phone. Please call our office to check-in once you arrive in the parking lot. Patients will wait in their car to be called into the office for your appointment once the previous patient is gone and sanitation/disinfection is complete.
  7. Office Entry Restricted:Only patients that have a scheduled appointment may enter the office. No additional guest are allowed to accompany you to your appointment.  Spouses, friends, caregivers and parents are not allowed to wait in the waiting area and will be asked to wait outside in their car until the dental appointment is complete. If you are a caregiver, you can assist patients to the front door and our team will let you know when the patient is ready to be dismissed.

For parents accompanying small patients (that are seen by sitting in parents lap) between the ages of 0-3, Only 1 parent will be allowed in the operatory with patient but will need to bring a face mask with you to be used while holding child (we will not have extra face masks available due to PPE shortage).

For parents with multiple children, appointments may need to be broken up or a 2nd adult will need to accompany you to the appointment that can remain in car with other children until it is time for them to be seen. We will care for 1 family member at a time.

Again, thank you for being a valued patient. We appreciate your continued trust and confidence in our Team. Together we can overcome these challenging circumstances and continue your path to greater dental health! We look forward to taking care of you at your next scheduled appointment.

Sincerely,

Dr. India D. Gibson and Your Bella Smiles Cosmetic and Family Dental Team
