Meet Dr. India D. Gibson

Dr. India D. Gibson, a native of Winnfield, Louisiana, developed a passion for helping others early on. Her commitment to service was demonstrated by her participation in school and church community outreach programs. The importance of discipline and education were greatly instilled in her by her parents and grandparents. With a desire to make a positive impact throughout her community, Dr. Gibson found her inspiration to pursue a career in Dentistry while volunteering at a community dental health center. Dr. Gibson earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Grambling State University, where she actively participated in various student organizations and became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Dr. Gibson went on to pursue her dream of becoming a Dentist at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2008.

Upon completion of dental school, Dr. Gibson went on to fulfill her National Health Service Corps obligation at David Raines Community Health Centers in Bossier City, Louisiana, where she served as Dental Director and provided dental care to low-income patients of all ages. As a volunteer with Reach Out Healthcare America, Dr. Gibson has provided dental screenings and treatment to military personnel preparing for deployment. Since moving to Sugar Land, Texas in 2015, Dr. Gibson has continued to expand her clinical experience as an independent contractor and Associate Dentist.

Skill and compassion go hand in hand when providing exceptional patient care. As a dental professional, Dr. Gibson stays up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for her patients. Dr. Gibson strongly believes in patient education to prevent oral health problems before they occur, and she makes sure to keep her patients fully informed about their dental health. Dr. Gibson actively listens and communicates to her patients in order to understand their treatment goals and needs to help create a customized dental plan specific to each individual.
